Ran is a principal investigator in this project and a Senior Researcher at GESIS. She has extensive research experience in the fields of information retrieval, with a special focus on online learning scenarios, knowledge graphs, and the modeling of multi-modal data.
Stefan is a principal investigator in this project and Scientific Director of the KTS department at GESIS. Additionally, he holds a professorship in Data & Knowledge Engineering at HHU. His research interests are at the intersection of information retrieval, knowledge graphs, NLP, and machine learning.
Alisa joined the project as a Postdoctoral Researcher at GESIS after earning her PhD from TU Delft. In her research, she focuses on human information interaction, with an interest in understanding and addressing socio-technical challenges related to information access technologies.
Vitalii joined the project as a PhD candidate at HHU after obtaining his Master's degree in Language and Communication Technologies from Saarland University and University of Groningen. As a researcher, he's interested in information retrieval, computational linguistics, and natural language processing.
Ardelia joined the project as a student research assistant at GESIS while pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Bonn. Her research interests include information retrieval, natural language processing, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and spatio-temporal data analysis.
